Longtime industry leader's new Conexiom Relay delivers what new vendors can't –
a decade-plus knowledge foundation combined with transparent AI that can be verified and trusted
VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- Conexiom today announced Conexiom Relay, an AI-native order and invoice automation product that checks its work to help distributors and manufacturers drive greater customer loyalty and margin.
Conexiom addresses the reality that most order and invoice traffic never arrive as clean PDFs. They come in as email threads, spreadsheets, handwritten notes, images and text messages, forcing customer service representatives (CSRs) to manually enter their information while customers wait. Conexiom pioneered the market for automating requests for quotations (RFQs), orders, vendor order acknowledgements, shipping notices, invoices and more. It ingests documents, classifies them, extracts and validates key data, corrects mismatches, then prepares it for any of 40 compatible enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Conexiom Relay extends its core capabilities in two major ways. First, it manages unstructured data from a variety of sources beyond PDFs. By taking on any format, Relay clears the retyping queue. CSRs can spend their day on orders that need a human, such as rush requests, disputed prices and customers deciding whether to reorder.
Second, Conexiom Relay introduces a new level of control and transparency through its Intelligence Console. The Console's AI is trained on 15 years of knowledge from order and invoice transactions, which sharpens how Relay handles quotes, orders and invoices. Unlike generic large language models (LLMs) that rely on "black box" AI, the Intelligence Console lets a team teach the system, control what it applies, and prove automation performed as expected. The ability for AI to check and show its work allows CSRs and ERP managers to become more confident in scaling automation, stopping manual work, and spending more time serving customers. The Intelligence Console includes:
- Conexiom Assist: An interface that uses the best of humans and AI to ensure reusable, repeatable automation. Unlike chatbots, it takes action. It receives requests, flags exceptions and executes processes. It scales a customer service team and abides by the Playbook.
- Playbook: Turns a CSR team's institutional knowledge into transparent rule sets for automated workflows to follow repeatedly. It automatically captures corrections made by Assist and can be augmented with rules submitted by teams in natural language. The Playbook shows its work to verify AI's accuracy and consistency.
- Automation Analytics: Measures performance on automation. It shows how much automation occurs across order and invoice operations and identifies optimization opportunities.
- Revenue Signals: Understands historical and current data patterns, then recommends actions on upselling, cross-selling, churn risk, and vendor cost savings. Signals show how much AI supports order and invoice operations and the number of exceptions.
"Distributors and manufacturers face a perfect storm – a silver tsunami of retirement, pressure to incorporate AI, and risk from ERP modernization," said Michel Feaster, CEO, Conexiom. "Conexiom Relay addresses these problems. It incorporates a team's tribal knowledge, is AI-native and purpose-built for order and invoice automation, and it does not require changing ERP systems. Conexiom Relay delivers a reliable, consistent buying experience, helping vendors grow revenue and strengthen loyalty with customers. We are the silver bullet that solves their problems and makes them more profitable."
AI differentiation is important to distinguish as vendor organizations navigate various solutions. Feaster notes, "AI is not created equal. Transparency is key."
"Manufacturers and distributors can't trust AI they cannot see," said Bryan DeGraw, principal, The Hackett Group. "Conexiom Relay provides transparency into order acceptance and modifications that are historical blind spots. Making rules visible and editable is the difference between automation that a company can defend and automation that it accepts on faith. Conexiom is delivering the former."
"Our longevity is what makes our AI better based on the historical data volume we've accrued, an asset that is unmatched by other providers," Feaster said. "Our data richness produces greater value and reliability for our customers, enabling them to build trusted customer-vendor relationships. We help our customers transition from a cost to value center. We turn transactions into trust."
