Hoboken location marks FAI's expansion beyond California, with first patients scheduled later this month and a public ribbon-cutting planned for mid-October
HOBOKEN, N.J., Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Food Allergy Institute (FAI), developer of the proprietary Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP), announced today the opening of its new clinic at 79 Hudson Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. The location marks FAI's first clinical site on the East Coast and its broader expansion beyond California, where the organization was founded.
The Hoboken clinic will begin seeing its first patients later this month, with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony planned for mid-October to mark the milestone with the local community.
FAI's Tolerance Induction Program is a proprietary, individualized treatment protocol designed to help patients with food allergies build lasting tolerance, rather than simply managing avoidance. The program uses AI-enabled analytics to track patient progress and forecast individualized treatment milestones toward remission, with 99% of patients who complete the program achieving remission-based outcomes. The New Jersey clinic will offer the same protocol used at FAI's original California locations, giving East Coast families access to the program without cross-country travel.
"Families across the New York and New Jersey area have been asking for access to this program for years," said Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, Founder and CEO of the Food Allergy Institute. "Opening in Hoboken means we can finally bring that care to them directly, in their own community."
The Hoboken location is FAI's latest step in a broader East Coast growth strategy, which has included building out local patient transfer and scheduling infrastructure, standing up new insurance coordination processes, and running community outreach efforts ahead of the clinic's opening.
While options beyond strict avoidance are being developed across the field, a severe gap remains between available treatment and the patients who need it. FAI's expansion into New Jersey positions the organization to help close that gap for families in the greater New York metropolitan area.
About the Food Allergy Institute: The Food Allergy Institute is a medical organization dedicated to treating food allergies through its proprietary Tolerance Induction Program® (TIP), an individualized protocol developed to help patients build lasting tolerance to food allergens.
